Simulation & Innovation (S & I) Engineering Solutions is a technology company incubated from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore in the year 2006. Sandi works in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). It has developed one of the most high performance computing (HPC) friendly commercial CFD software HiFUN. It is capable of simulating air flow over flying configurations, automobiles as well as structures such as buildings, ships etc. The latest version of HiFUN software marks culmination of more than 100 man-years of research and development efforts. This robust, fast, accurate and efficient tool is available at very attractive license price.
Sandi has a team of highly trained and dedicated engineers to help industry analyse complex simulation problems requiring massive computational resources. It has concluded a number of service contracts for various government and private organizations. The configurations analysed during these service contracts range from transport aircraft, fighter aircraft, missiles, launch vehicles, ships etc. Sandi is capable of analysing multi-body dynamics problems such as store separation analysis. Sandi also deals with configuration optimization, particularly in the area of Aerospace Engineering, using a combination of low fidelity aerodynamic tools and high fidelity CFD tools.
